Before you hand over a gate code
How to hire residential lawn care here
This directory lists crews. It does not employ, bond, or guarantee them. You call them. Ask these yourself.
Weekly or one-shot?
A recurring mow and a one-time reset price differently. Get both numbers in writing.
Pets or kids in the yard?
Name them. Ask about gates, droppings, and whether they spray when animals are out.
What is in the visit?
Mow, edge, bag, beds. Get the scope written before they start.
Chemical or mow-only?
Ask if they spray. Ask them to name the product. If you do not want spray, say so.
What happens when it rains?
Ask if they skip, come later that week, or bill anyway.
When can you start?
Get a start date. Ask what they do if they miss it.
Watch-outs
- They will not say if they spray.
- No rain policy.
- Vague about what is in the visit.
Why Google ratings matter
Neighbors open Google before they call. They scan stars and recent notes, then decide if a lawn care crew looks real and reachable. A thin or silent profile loses that job. SteadyRank keeps the follow-up loop after a closed job ($297/mo). No rank promise. No lead cut.
